(Levinus Arie Cornelis) van de Bundt werd op 5 maart 1909 in Zeist geboren
en overleed op 11 oktober 1979 in Den Haag.
De Vrije Academie werd op 1 november 1947, op een zolder aan het Haagse Westeinde, opgericht door 'lichtkunstenaar' Livinus van de Bundt (directeur van 1947 tot 1964).

Schilderij" 1978 Like Moirée, Vijftig uit Twee (Fifty From Two) was the result of a collaboration between Livinus and Jeep van de Bundt which involved an interaction between image and sound both in terms of form and content. This 'video peinture', a term invented by the artists themselves, consists of fifty images together lasting two seconds. Tranquil abstract images in bright, artificial colours are alternated with other images that move to the rapid rhythm of the music. |
